A day in the life

Wednesday, April 29, 2015

Hey y'all. I have always liked these posts. Mostly just because I am nosy and like to see what goes on in other peoples lives. So, if you want to know how our usual day goes keep reading...
This just happened to be a Tuesday, which is one of the three days Liam goes to therapy.
6:30- my alarm goes off. I groan and press the snooze. Just 5 more minutes I tell myself.
7:00- wake up and realize I slept through my second alarm. I run around grabbing clothes and trying to wrangle the kids. I swear trying to dress Liam is like trying to put a shirt on a tornado. I also make breakfast and throw together a lunch for Liam.
7:45- We leave the house and pray that the traffic isn't bad at the gate. We live about 1 mile from the base but around this time in the morning it is horrendous.
8:00- I drop Logan off just in time to hear the bell.
8:30- Drop Liam off at therapy/MDO. He stays there until 1230 so Nora and I have 4 Hrs to waste.
9:00- I get home, make Nora a snack (grapes and cheerios. I pick my battles) start laundry and finally start my first cup of coffee. This is usually when I catch up on my blog reading but I decided that playing Skyrim was more important.
12:30- I pick up Liam, stop by Starbucks for a green tea.
1:00- I put the kids down for a nap, wake up Mr. Geek and head to the gym.
2:45- I pick up Logan from school. Come home and help with homework.
4:00- I start dinner, unload/reload the dishwasher.
5-7:00 We eat dinner, play outside if it's nice.
7-8:00- bath time, read a couple books and bed time.
8:15-930- Mr. Geek and I will usually play a game. Slap Jack is my new obsession even though I have NEVER won a damn game. We change it up all the time phase 10, rummy and Diablo III. This is a time for us to spend together. I also have a glass or two of my favorite wine. Mia Dolcea.
10:00- I take a shower, blow dry my hair, wash my face and head to bed.
Then start it all over again tomorrow. I always feel like I don't have enough time in the day. Especially because Liams' therapy is a good 30 minutes away. I feel like I spend most of my day in my car. And there is never enough coffee. Why is there never enough coffee?!

Xoxo
Danielle
