Hey y'all. We had a long weekend and I got either food poisoning or the stomach flu and OMG. It was horrible. I am finally feeling much better. Mr. Geek and I were able to sneak away for a little date on Monday. We ate at one of our favorite burger joints The Big Orange. The food was fantastic as always. The service was pretty crappy though. Then we went to Marshalls to swoon over the home decor and get Mr. Geek some new work out clothes.

Speaking of working out I started my Advocare 10 day cleanse yesterday. My bestie Meridith from Diary of a Nerdy Wife and I are doing it together. This will be my third Advocare Cleanse. I just love them.

I am also filming a haul video today. So stayed tuned.

Noras' OOTDS

Hey y'all sorry it has been so quiet around here. Vomit. All.the.vomit. Enough said. I thought it would be fun to do a Noras' OOTD post. Since she is a little fashionista. Sole Society has it goin' on!

1 - Y'all these are amazing. RUN. DO NOT WALK TO PICK THESE BABIES UP. I have worn them multiple times and they are THE most comfortable shoes I own. I legit walked 4 miles in these at the children's museum and park. Amazing. Plus, you can wear them with Jeans and a white slouchy shirt or dress them up with a sweet spring dress. You just can't go wrong with a little bling. The only thing I will say is to order a 1/2 size down. I ordered a 5.5 and they fit perfectly.

3- I cannot even explain the softness of this vegan leather. Oh.my.god. I immediately pulled it out of the bag and hugged it. I haven't really put it down since. The only complaint I have is that it only has one inside pocket. Just wish it had a place for my phone. Other than that, this is probably my new favorite handbag. Ever.

2- Like I said in a previous post I have recently fallen in love with the double studded earrings. They are just so chic with a little edge and the diamonds give it a special little touch. Highly recommend these.

My Mothers' Day

Hey y'all. First and foremost let me say "Happy Mothers day" to all you mamas out there. Whether it be an angel baby, miracle baby, fur baby or a basketball team. Y'all rock! My Mother's Day was amazing. I got woken up with lots of snuggles from Liam (and a couple elbows to the face by Nora. I have the bruise to prove it) It was the best way to wake up. Mr. Geek offered to make a breakfast but I just wanted coffee. Then they escorted me to the dining room table to find this...

How amazingly cute are those flowers?! Logan cut most of the stems, leaves and some of the flowers. They are just adorable. I could not ask for a better family. Plus, those shoes?! Yes, please. I have been dying for some new workout shoes since my Reebok ones have holes in the sides. I worked out in them last night and they are SO comfortable. The inserts on these babies are like air. After I got back from the gym Mr. Geek ordered me some sushi and we watched Suits. Then I took a shower and hit the hay. It was the best Mother's day yet.

Hey y'all. Today is one of my favorite days of the year. May 4th. STAR WARS DAY!! I linked up some awesome stuff if you are in the mood to browse. I am definitely getting that tea infuser and seriously debating on getting the bow tie for Logan. He loves Star Wars and wearing bow ties. It's a match made in heaven. We had a wonderful low key weekend filled with family time, Hobbit and a gazillion bubbles. How was your weekend? Do you have anything planned for today? Or for Cinco De Mayo? Friday Favorites by geekandglam featuring converse trainers

L Oréal Paris beauty product / double-sided earrings / Matte foundation / Matte finish lipstick / Converse trainers

 First of all, let me say, I am not sponsored by L'oreal. I have just fallen in love with these three products. After my wisdom tooth extraction my skin changed from being SUPER dry to being oily (who knew that could happen?! Not me.) so I needed something matte and that lasted all.day.long. I heard about these products from Meghan Rienks and that night ran out and bought all three. The foundation saying "semi-coverage" but I would say it is more of a full-coverage. It really makes my skin glow and keeps it from being shiny.
The Powder really sets the foundation without it looking like you are wearing powder.
The make up setting spray is my new holy grail. It works better then the UD setter that I talked about in my first Friday Favorites. Plus, it smells amazing.
NYX lipstick has never been my favorite. With that being said, I was in search of a nude lipstick and took a chance on this. I am so glad I did. I got the color Summer Love and I may run back to Target and get more.
I know I am wayyyyy behind the times with the double-studded earring trend (is it even a thing anymore?) but I grabbed these after passing on them a couple months ago. I have gotten multiple compliments on them and am thinking of getting some more.
The converse I got to lift in until I get some actual lifting shoes. These do the trick and are comfortable as hell.
