Hey y'all this weekend was SO much fun. Saturday was my birthday so my bestie Meridith from Diary of A Nerdy Wife took me out for dinner and a movie. We drank margaritas, took 100 selfies, ate some amazing Mexican food and best of all watched JURRASSIC WORLD. In case you are wondering; it was fantastic.
Then I woke up to flowers, hand written cards and a ping pong table. I may have sqeeeeed like a little school girl. I grew up on ping pong and it is one of my favorite games to play other than air hockey. We played a couple games, Mr. Geek and I worked out then we headed to The Game Store. I could live in there. We ended up not buying anything because liam had a dirty diaper and I forgot to put some in my purse. After we got home and got him changed we headed out for dinner at Old Chicago. I was pretty disappointed in the peppered bacon and chicken Alfredo pizza. Then by the time we got home it was around 8 so the kids went to bed and Mr. Geek and I headed back to The Game Store (p.s. we did not leave the kids home alone, my MIL was here visiting so she stayed and watched the kids) to do some serious shopping. We stayed there until almost midnight playing board games. We ended up picking out some intro decks for Magic The Gathering. We are pretty stoked to start playing. Got home and passed out. It was an amazing weekend and I am so very thankful for y'all!! Here is to another amazing year!
